RELLIK's first booked gig on Dec. 23, 1983. An audio tape still exist of this show!

RELLIK started to gain in popularity in the Boot-Heel of Missouri very quickly, playing "the circle" of cities. From the first self-booked show in Hayti Mo, then Caruthersville Mo, Blytheville Ar, Sikeston Mo, and back again adding towns with each circle. All the towns were close enough together that when word spread, people from other towns would drive an hour to see the band play. After Recording a five song EP, the band had to move on to bigger things and ended up on an East Coast Tour, and was booked by word of mouth. Rellik was the first band booked by their booking agent without the agent ever meeting or hearing the band. RELLIK won the battle of the bands in Columbia South Carolina, in 1985. Playing as far south as Paris Island, to Jacksonville North Carolina The band felt after six months it was time to head home and work on new material. Up on the bands return to the Mid-South, RELLIK played to a fully packed Wardell High School Gym.

RELLIK in Cape Giradeau, MO. The last show before the Kick off in Memphis to their East Coast Tour.

RELLIK On the Way to the East coast by way of a gig in Memphis to kick off the tour, with sound man Tim Moore (far right).

A "hot chick" cought the attention of Wain, and told QT to look who was telling Ty to look, who hadn't told Kip just yet! Funny!
